OFF-HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT

Harsh Environmental Resilience
Off-highway machinery (agriculture, construction, etc.) is exposed to heat, dust, mud, and moisture. Harnesses must use high-temperature jackets and be routed away from hot engine parts. Sealed or IP-rated connectors are critical to keep out water and dirt.
Corrosion and Chemical Protection
These vehicles regularly come into contact with oils, fertilizers, and salt. Harnesses must use corrosion-resistant materials, along with protective sleeving, to withstand chemical exposure over time.
Vibration and Abrasion Toughness
Constant vibration and contact with harsh terrain demand added mechanical protection. Strain-reliefs, heavy braiding or corrugated conduits, and robust mounting clamps help prevent damage from abrasion and long-term fatigue.
How EDS Master helps
EDS Master has hands-on experience designing and supporting harnesses for agricultural, construction, and heavy off-road machinery. Our engineers apply 3D harness routing and careful material selection to ensure protection against heat, vibration, and environmental exposure. We integrate IP-rated connectors, chemical-resistant conductors, and mechanical reinforcements into every design. During vehicle build and launch, we also provide on-site support to assist with proper installation and manufacturing optimisation. By combining robust design practices with real-world experience, we help our customers build off-highway machines that perform reliably in the toughest working conditions.
