EDS Master at NVN Members Forum 2025
Last week, we had the opportunity to introduce EDS Master at the Niche Vehicle Network Members Forum 2025.
It was a good event for us, especially because it brought together many people and companies involved in niche vehicle development. These are the kind of projects where engineering needs to be practical, flexible, and well coordinated from the beginning.
For EDS Master, it was also a good opportunity to present what we do in electrical design, wiring harness design, and harness manufacturing support.
To be honest, speaking in front of the audience was a bit outside my comfort zone. I was quite nervous, but I really appreciated the patience and attention from everyone in the room.
A useful event for niche vehicle engineering
The Niche Vehicle Network Members Forum was a good place to meet companies working on specialist vehicles, low-volume production, prototype builds, and new vehicle technologies.
These types of projects often have different challenges compared with high-volume automotive programmes.
Timelines can be tight. Design changes can happen quickly. Teams are often small, and the same people may need to manage engineering, suppliers, build support, and customer deadlines at the same time.
This is exactly where clear electrical design and good harness documentation can make a real difference.
What we presented
During the event, we introduced EDS Master and explained how we support vehicle projects with electrical design and wiring harness work.

Why this matters for small and specialist vehicle teams
In niche vehicle projects, the electrical system is sometimes developed while the mechanical package is still changing. Components may move, routing space may be limited, and the final harness needs to be practical enough to manufacture and install.
This is why we try to keep the design process close to the real build.
A harness drawing should not only look good on paper. It should help the manufacturing team build the harness and help the vehicle team install it with confidence.
That is something we always try to keep in mind at EDS Master.
